Frequently Asked Question
-
What can I do to improve the images of my ultrasound?
WATER - Is the best answer , how to improve your ultrasound images. You should be drinking plenty of water beginning at least 30 minutes, before your scheduled appointment. Water can improve the quality of an ultrasound.
-
Who will perform the exam?
Our certified sonographer with 15 years of proven experience will perform ultrasound scans.
-
What will determine quality of the images?
Fetal position is the number one determination of how your image quality will be. Some babies come ready for viewing and great images are obtained. Others simply turn their back or cuddle up to the placenta or the uterine wall or insist on putting their hands and feet in front of their face. We will try hard to make your baby move in order to see and image the face. Drinking juice or eating a little candy may help the baby move a little on that day of imaging.
-
Does this replaces an Ultrasound at my doctor's office ?
ABSOLUTELY NOT- Women seeking a prenatal Ultrasound with Meet Your Baby, may already be receiving treatment with a health care provider for prenatal care and have already undergone a medical, diagnostic Ultrasound , ordered by their health care provider to confirm their due date, and screen for fetal anomalies, and to look for any other pregnancy related issues. During the ultrasound session , we confirm the heart beat, the number of babies in the pregnancy, the position of the baby, and the placental location. Please note, that at no time this exam replaces a regular diagnostic Ultrasound.
-
If I am over weight , will I be able to get clear ultrasound images?
If you are overweight you should not be afraid to have a 4D elective ultrasound, however we strongly urge that you wait until after 30 weeks gestation to give the baby time to obtain more fat on their face. If you are over weight you will need to have a VERY high level of amniotic fluid to obtain clear images of the baby. If you drink the recommend amount of water in the weeks leading up to your appointment there is no reason you should not be able to obtain great images.

10 month agoPlace was very clean, and organized. Super cozy! Lady was super patient with me. My baby wasnt moving much while scanning, but she took 1 hour for the scan instead of just 30minutes - just to get a better picture of my baby! Sure she will not let you go home without getting what you deserve. Will recommend her. She also gave me extra 2 printed photos instead of just one, as a complimentary since we did not get much photos of baby’s face. 100% satisfied with her service!
