Does the location of my placenta impact the quality of my images?
Not necessarily. Many clients with anterior placenta ( in front ) often ask if there will be difficulty seeing their baby with a 3d/4d ultrasound. A large percentage of our clients have anterior placenta and we are able to scan from the side and around the placenta to see the baby. In some cases, the baby will face into the placenta, whether it is anterior, posterior ( along the back) or fundal ( along the top), in which case, we will work to try to get the baby to move away from the placenta. Some of the images will have parts of the placenta in them, after all, we are imaging the baby in the womb. We will do our best to get as much of the face in view as possible but a full face shot is not always available. Similarly, babies are often going to be putting their hands and feet in their face and may not free up a view of the entire face. Many moms write back to tell us that their babies make the same gestures and put hands and feet in the face after birth just as they did in the womb and it makes them treasure the ultrasound images even more.

What is a diagnostic prenatal ultrasound?
We provide 3D/4D non diagnostic ultrasound experience to expectant parents ,for a positive bonding experience between parents and their unborn baby. We also provide whole session videos and digital baby photos recorded on a USB. This ultrasound exam is not performed to assess any of baby abnormalities. A routine diagnostic examination should always be performed to assess the gestational age of the fetus, for the screening of genetic disorders and fetal anomalies as prescribed by your family doctor.

Will session USB have an entire thirty minutes or hour on it?
Not always. There are lot of variables , which hinder a clear and smooth video recording . Like baby position ,placenta covering baby face ,not enough amniotic fluid etc etc

What if my baby is in breech position?
Breech position is when the baby's head is located at the top of your uterus & feet are down. If you do know that your baby is in breech position prior to your 3D/4D ultrasound, we do advise you to reschedule your appointment a few weeks later to allow more time for the baby to turn. Good pictures can be obtained with breech babies, but they are not guaranteed & are much more likely if the baby head is down. However some babies remain breech until very late in the pregnancy or never turn, if this is the case you can still do a 3D/4D ultrasound and we should be able to get good images if you have plenty of amniotic fluid.

Can I see my baby if I wait greater than 34 weeks?
Yes with appropriate fluid and movement the images and expressions are remarkable. Check my facebook account for examples.

1 year agoI just had my first 3D/4D ultrasound at 29 weeks in Meet Your Baby - 3D/4D Ultrasound, and it was such a wonderful experience. It was amazing to clearly see my baby’s facial features, movements, and even little expressions. The sonographer was warm, patient, and made us feel very comfortable. The place was clean, welcoming, and professionally run. We received 28 photos, a 30-minute or so live video on USB, and a printed pic for our package. She even gave us an extra printed pic and chose better than what I chose to print. It was surreal and emotional seeing our baby yawn, smile, blink and wave on the screen. Definitely worth it—highly recommend doing the 3D/4D ultrasound in this privately owned place for both reassurance and memories. ❤️
