Frequently Asked Question
-
What can I do to improve the images of my ultrasound?
WATER - Is the best answer , how to improve your ultrasound images. You should be drinking plenty of water beginning at least 30 minutes, before your scheduled appointment. Water can improve the quality of an ultrasound.
-
What is essential for the best images?
Adequate fluid around the baby, fetal movement (not just those strong jabs with body parts), and fat on the baby body are the prerequisites to obtain the optimum scans.
-
What if my baby is in breech position?
Breech position is when the baby's head is located at the top of your uterus & feet are down. If you do know that your baby is in breech position prior to your 3D/4D ultrasound, we do advise you to reschedule your appointment a few weeks later to allow more time for the baby to turn. Good pictures can be obtained with breech babies, but they are not guaranteed & are much more likely if the baby head is down. However some babies remain breech until very late in the pregnancy or never turn, if this is the case you can still do a 3D/4D ultrasound and we should be able to get good images if you have plenty of amniotic fluid.
-
What is a diagnostic prenatal ultrasound?
We provide 3D/4D non diagnostic ultrasound experience to expectant parents ,for a positive bonding experience between parents and their unborn baby. We also provide whole session videos and digital baby photos recorded on a USB. This ultrasound exam is not performed to assess any of baby abnormalities. A routine diagnostic examination should always be performed to assess the gestational age of the fetus, for the screening of genetic disorders and fetal anomalies as prescribed by your family doctor.

3 month agoI had such a wonderful experience at Meet Your Baby. The woman who performed our scan was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. She never made us feel rushed and truly took her time to make sure we had the best possible experience. Our baby wasn’t very active at first, but she let us stay as long as we needed until we were finally able to see lots of movement, which meant so much to us. Her calm and gentle approach made the whole experience feel very special. As someone who has previously experienced a loss, I really appreciated how compassionate and reassuring she was throughout the appointment. It made a big difference and helped ease a lot of my anxiety. Overall, it was such a positive and comforting experience. I’m very grateful and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a caring and personalized ultrasound experience. 1
